This page describes how Traccion AI ("Traccion", "we", "us") uses SMS, how we collect consent, and how recipients opt out. It documents the opt-in process for our messaging program.
How we use SMS
We send text messages in two consent-based ways:
- Account & lead notifications (transactional). When a business owner signs up for Traccion, they may receive operational alerts about their own account — for example, when their AI receptionist captures a new lead or books an appointment. These go only to the owner who created the account and agreed to receive them.
- Client SMS marketing (opt-in only). On behalf of a Traccion client, we send marketing messages only to that client's existing warm-market contacts who have explicitly opted in to receive SMS marketing. We never message purchased, scraped, or cold lists.
How consent is collected
Consent is collected via web form. When a business owner signs up at dashboard.traccion.ai, they check a box that reads:
“I agree to the Traccion AI Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and to receive account & lead notifications by SMS and email at the contact information I provide. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
For client marketing programs, a client's contact explicitly opts in through a web form or checkbox before any marketing SMS is sent, agreeing to receive promotional texts from that specific business. Each consent event is logged with a timestamp.
Message frequency & rates
Message frequency varies based on account activity (e.g., how often your AI captures a lead). Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out & help
You can opt out of any Traccion message at any time by replying STOP. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Opting out of SMS does not affect your account or email notifications.
